Jennifer Tanner, Owner/Director

Music has always been a passion of mine. I remember playing keyboard along with my radio for hours on end when I was a kid, practicing my violin until my fingers hurt and singing along with the same song on repeat over and over until I could sing the harmonies just right. It's that passion and inspiration that led me to dive head first into my high school choir and orchestra programs. In college, I began teaching piano and violin lessons while pursuing a degree in vocal performance. After graduation, I continued teaching and now have nearly 20 years of experience in music instruction.

My passion isn't just for music, it's also for people. Along with my husband and 4 awesome kids, I love connecting with neighbors and friends at church. Music is just like that connection we share with one another. Each of us has a heart beating a rhythm in our chest. Music brings people together. 

That's why I want to share my knowledge, love of music and love of people with you. The teachers that have come alongside me at Inspire Academy of Music share my passion and will benefit from my experience and expertise - and so will you.
